Woodstock has been in the log component business since 1981. We work with wholesalers, builders, and do-it-yourselfers. New construction or remodeling; large or small projects; all are important to us. Woodstock wants to assist in making your dream become a reality.
The process begins with your choice of white cedar or pine. The lumber and timbers are cut and graded by Amish mills. These Amish craftsmen insure the finest start for your building project.
The drying of the wood is a critical part of the cycle. Even the highest quality material cannot survive poor drying. Our dry kiln utilizes the wet air venting system. The benefit of this system to the customer is that it shortens the drying cycle, saving you money while providing even drying while maintaining consistent quality throughout the kiln charge.
The wood is then put thru the planer / profiler and, finally, the product is end matched. Siding and paneling from Woodstock 100% useable. Whether you are a professional or a do-it-yourselfer, our paneling and siding are simple to install.
To simplify your job further, we offer pre-finishing of your project. Exterior stains come with a warranty up to 25 years for solids and 12 years for semi-transparent. We use an automated system which coats all sides and ends of your material to insure long term protection. We pre-finish all types of sidings and paneling whether supplied by Woodstock or other sources.
We offer a full line of custom services starting with kiln drying thru our ready to use pre-finishing system. We have done custom profiles to match a customer’s spec, although the size of the order needs to offset the special tooling costs. We have even assisted one customer in converting the trees on his building site to paneling for his house. Regardless of the project, we can help.
